Good morning {{first_name}},
Quick one today.
A behind-the-scenes look at a brand I built back in 2024 how it came together, the thinking behind it, and what it actually taught me
Looking at it now, it’s clear what I was focused on at the time.
Clarity over noise.
And honestly, it still holds up.
The Brief
Rapid Transit was a ride-hailing concept built for business professionals.
The positioning was simple:
Not cheap.
Not slow.
Something in between done properly.
Fast. Efficient. Premium.
The Approach
Just one question:
What should this feel like the second someone sees it?
Not features.
Not the app.
The feeling.
Answer:
Control.
Speed without chaos.
Luxury without slowness.
That became the foundation.
The Strategy
Three core ideas:
Speed → instant, responsive
Efficiency → zero friction
Luxury → clean, intentional
Every decision followed that.
No guesswork.
No decoration.
Everything had a reason.
The Design
The logo is where it all comes together.
A merged R + T structured, controlled, no excess.
Then the detail that carries it:
An arrow inside the “R”.
Subtle.
But intentional.
It adds:
Direction
Movement
Purpose
The colour does the same job.
Most brands in this space stay safe blacks, blues, greys.
I didn’t.
A sharp neon green.
It signals energy instantly.
But paired with darker tones, it still feels premium.
That balance matters:
Fast — not rushed.
Premium — not slow.
What This Taught Me
You don’t need complexity to feel high-end.
You need clarity.
A clear idea.
Executed properly.
With no unnecessary noise.
That’s it.
