Good morning {{first_name}},
Branding is more than just a logo.
When I design branding for clients, I always include a brand strategy session in the process. After getting to know them and their business, I then dive deeper and ask about their mission, vision, and target audience.
The reason I do this is because I don’t just sell a design I sell a feeling. When you walk into an Apple store, you feel very looked after. Within a few seconds, someone comes to help you (this links back to their brand values). When an employee speaks to you, they speak confidently and support you without pushing you to buy anything.
The logo is very simple and recognisable, and it has a strong reputation. So when someone sees you with an Apple product, their immediate thought is:
“that’s Apple.”
I essentially do this for every brand and make it easy for them to not only look good but also sell their product or service by clearly defining what makes them different.
To get a very close idea of the target market, I create three imaginary personas, all of which live normal lives and use the client’s product or service.
Not only is this part of branding crucial, but without it, you might end up with something that looks nice but doesn’t help you differentiate yourself or communicate effectively with your customers.
This is what makes branding still profitable. With the rise of AI, it can generate a logo in seconds, but it can’t truly understand your audience or do the strategic thinking behind a strong brand.
That’s why people come to me.
If you’re looking to build a brand that not only looks good but actually makes people think, feel, and trust instantly, I can help you.
Or, if you’re a designer, consider adding brand strategy into your branding process it will completely change the results you get.
