Something everyone’s done in their life even without realising it is worry about what people think.

Whether it’s posting your first video, walking into the gym, or trying to start something new… there’s always that voice in your head whispering, “what if they laugh?”

The other day, a follower messaged me about this exact thing.

He said he wanted to start growing his business but he couldn’t shake the fear of what people at school might think.

And I get it. That fear is real.

It’s like your brain’s built-in alarm trying to protect you from embarrassment.

But here’s the truth I told him and maybe it’s the reminder you need too:

most people aren’t actually watching you.

They’re too busy worrying about their own lives.

When I first started going to the gym, I had that same feeling.

People from school were there, and I thought they were secretly judging me

But after a while, I realised something simple:

everyone’s just focused on themselves.

Their own workout. Their own progress. Their own insecurities.

Everyone’s trapped in their own “main character moment,”

too busy thinking they’re being watched to notice anyone else.

It’s the same thing in business.

When you start posting your work, selling your designs, or launching a brand

you’ll always assume people are judging.

But most of them are just scrolling, half-asleep,

and they’ll forget your post five seconds later.

So why hold yourself back for people who aren’t even paying attention?

Lessons Learned

  • Nobody’s judging you as much as you think.

  • Most people are too busy worrying about themselves.

  • The sooner you stop seeking approval, the faster you grow.

once you stop performing for others,

you start performing at your best.

Hope this helped
