Everyone needs a mate like this

Everyone’s got that one mate the person who’s always there through the highs and lows. For me, that’s Eshaan.

Today’s his birthday, and I’ve got to say this: he’s been that guy for me.

When my brain blanks out creatively, he’s the one who steps in. Some of the ideas you’ve seen on my page? Straight from him. He’s not even a designer, but he’s been behind the scenes helping with videos, ideas, and encouragement when I’ve needed it most.

We’ve known each other for about 7 years now. And here’s the thing: he lives about 40 minutes away, and I haven’t actually met up with him in person for 2 years. But somehow, the friendship has never faded. Even if we don’t talk for weeks or months, I can call him and it feels like we just picked up from our last chat.

That’s the mark of a true mate distance, time, or silence doesn’t change anything. He’s there when it counts.

So happy birthday, mate. You deserve all of it and more.

And for everyone reading this if you’ve got someone like that in your life, don’t take it for granted. Appreciate them, because friendships like these don’t come around often.
