Here is exactly how my process works at MYS Designs to keep clients happy, projects smooth, and revisions under control.
1. Discovery Call
Every project starts with a short call. This is where I get to understand the client, their goals, and their audience. Think of it as drawing the map before the journey. If the discovery goes well, we move to the next step.
2. Contract and Deposit
Before any work begins, I send a contract and request a deposit. Sometimes I ask for a valid ID to avoid payment issues.
Clients also get access to a Notion client portal. This is a single place where they can see the contract, invoices, and payment links. Think of it like a control center everything is visible from day one so both sides stay aligned.
3. Strategy and Execution
Once the deposit is paid, the client fills out a questionnaire. This helps me understand their target market, goals, and audience.
Next is a strategy call to build a clear roadmap. This keeps the project focused and on track.
Then comes execution. I design and take regular feedback to make sure the brand matches exactly what the client wants. Think of it like tuning an instrument small adjustments along the way make the final piece perfect.
4. Handoff and Next Steps
Once everything is approved, we have a final handoff call. All files and designs are delivered. I also outline next steps, like monthly retainers and collecting testimonials. This shows other entrepreneurs the value of working with MYS Designs.
